Timeline of the project

Concept

Coming up with the very essence of the product and creating a large number of early sketches to help with choosing a suiting design. Defining the target specifications of the go-kart and finding a way to achieve them.

Prototype

Building a fully working prototype that is as close to the final product as possible. The goal here is to prove a concept, get our message across and make sure that we are happy with the way components come together.

We're currently here

Pre-Production testing

Pre-production testing is all about putting as many miles on the prototype as possible. Testing all systems for faults, making sure that everything works and behaves as expected. Safety is another big focus during that period as we want to be certain that the batteries and high voltage cables are well-protected and out of harm's way. Last but not least important, we have experts from the field of go-karting to help us set up the chassis and motor behaviour for optimal performance.

Production

Once we are happy with the final product as well as with our methods of production we are going to move forward to making the client go-karts. This step is expected to begin in the late spring of 2021.

Delivery

Our goal is to start shipping the first pre-orders in the autumn of 2021 starting with customers in Europe. Deliveries to the United States, Canada and other overseas territories are also possible, though the price is going to depend heavily on the number of units shipped.

Kinetik Model 27

A proof that electric go-karts can be faster, better looking and more exciting than their petrol-powered predecessors. Don’t miss the chance to become part of the future today. Place a fully refundable deposit and pre-order yours now!

Currently, we are in a period of extensive pre-production testing with our two prototypes – the standard Model 27 and the Early Adopters limited edition. Our team of engineers has teamed up with professional racing driver and European go-kart champion Pavel Lefterov as well as with go-karting legend Gabriele Castellazzi who are going to help us set up the final product to perfection.

Early Adopters Version

Subscribe for future updates

The Early Adopters is a limited run of only 27 go-karts that would feature a more powerful and efficient electric motor, lighter batteries and an upgraded controller. The additional 18Kw bring the overall power to 38Kw or 50bhp.

As a result of this boost in performance, the go-kart will be able to reach a top speed of over 120kph and accelerate to 100kph in 3.3 seconds. Moreover, thanks to the increased efficiency the vehicle is going to gain 36% more range taking it to 15km. The cost of all those upgrades is going to bring the total price to €18,900 or $22,000 US.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the body panels made of?

The body panels are made from fibreglass using 3D printed moulds which ensures great accuracy and perfect fitment every time. Of course, there is also the option of carbon fibre, if that is what the client requires.

How many Early Adopters go-karts are going to be produced?

In total there are only going to be 27 Early Adopters limited edition go-karts. Once sold out they will never be made again.

What is the difference between the Standart and Early Adopters versions?

The Early Adopters package features a more efficient motor which is going to add another 18Kw bringing the overall power to 38Kw or 50bhp. As a result of this boost in performance, the go-kart will be able to reach a top speed of over 120kph and accelerate to 100kph in 3.3 seconds. Moreover, thanks to the increased efficiency the vehicle is going to gain 36% more range taking it to 15km.

Is there a drift assist system?

A drift assist system? Who needs that when you have between 90 and 140 Nm at the touch of your right foot? You could be going sideways all day long if you wish to do so!

What is the top speed of the go-kart?

The standard version of our go-kart is limited to 96 km/h, while the Early Adopters machines can go over 120 km/h. Of course, in both cases, these values can be increased by changing the final drive but is inevitably going to hurt performance.

Are you shipping to the US and Canada?

The short answer is yes. We have no problem shipping our go-karts to any place on the globe, however, the price is going to vary based on the number of units placed in each shipping container.

When is production expected to start?

Our plan is to start production in April or May of 2021 once we have completed all pre-production testing and we are happy with the final results.

When are the first deliveries expected to occur?

The first pre-orders should be delivered to their owners in the fall of 2021.
